Hamelton Tweed 1 GOTS

Hamelton Tweed 1 GOTS is a beautifully luxurious, classic tweed yarn. The small addition of viscose to the 90% organic wool fibers lends a beautiful drape and shine, giving fantastic results to all kinds of projects.

Softer than traditional tweed yarns, it also has a wonderful sheen that lends itself well to garments. The visible twist of Hamelton Tweed gives it extra elasticity meaning that large garments, especially for men, will more easily keep their shape. The colour palette is unusual for a tweed yarn which only adds to Hamelton Tweed's effortless charm.

It also comes in a heavier weight version called Hamelton Tweed 2.

The raw wool from both of our Hamelton yarns comes from mulesing-free farms in South America. The yarn is spun and dyed in Turkey.
